Snow Day, Sunshine: Fry Phrase Fun

Hey friends! I hate to post in run but I have a meeting to get to in a few minutes!

I just wanted to let y'all know that my January Fry Phrase Game is up at my Teachers Pay Teachers store!

I couldn't quite figure out a theme for this game until the other day, so I apologize for the delay! To play, just print off your desired level of fry phrases, I use one for the 4th 100 words, but the game includes phrases for the 3rd, 4th and 5th 100 words.  Then add in the Snow Day and Sunshine cards.  Snow day cards earn extra turns and the possbility of more cards! Sunshine, which melts snow, means the loss of a turn cards.  Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game...wins!

I use my fry phrase games with my struggling readers during ELA intervention time and with parent helpers mostly.  My kids LOVE these games and it has made a big difference in their fluency scores.  I *try* to keep them in a seasonal container but sometimes a beach bucket works just fine. :)

Check out the picture or {here} to check it out on TpT! :)

Have a great evening!

  1. Your items are adorable! I just had my blog created by the Honey Bunch and saw your blog there. I was hoping you might consider linking up some of these "CUTE" products to my first ever "Too Cute Tuesday" linky party @ PlanningZone.blogspot.com
