About Me

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! My name is Lisa, and I am a fourth grade teacher from Ohio! Go Bucks! This upcoming school year will be my eight year of teaching.  I have taught second, third, and fourth grade during my teaching career.  I've learned along the way that my niche is with the upper elementary students. :)  Currently, I teach english language arts, reading, writing, and grammar to two sections of students.  

I'm married to a super supportive guy who actually helped name my blog.  Refer to this post for an explanation about why my blog is named Fourth and Ten.  Daily he encourages me to "pour my heart" into everything that I do and gets just as excited as I do about a new project for my classroom or an engaging lesson that I have planned. While we don't have kids, we are the proud parents to two adorable black lab and collie mixes who certainly keep us on our toes!

I love blogging, a good book, and strong coffee.  I'm also avid home cook and enjoy spending time in the kitchen to unwind after a long and busy day at school.  In the fall, you can find me wearing Scarlet and Gray and yelling "Go Bucks" at Ohio Stadium or at the TV. :)
