TpT: Teachers Appreciation Sale :)

Hello! I hope that everyone had a great weekend. 
I'm cozied up with my pups trying to relax before our state assessments this week. I'm actually about to print off my testing motivational notes for my sweet kiddos. You can find them {here}.

I LOVE the annual Teachers Appreciation Sale! It's the perfect time to stock up on goodies to finish the end of the year strong and on any materials you would like to prep over the summer for next year.  Last year, I bought my Focus Wall cards and spent a little bit of time each week prepping them and by the time school started, they were all done. :)

My store will be 20% during the sale and TpT will take an additional 10% off, for a total savings of 28%. :) What a bargain!

I LOVE these memory books because you can print two copies to a page. Perfect for the end of the year, when my copy clicks are low.  :)

3 Million Teachers Strong Teachers Pay Teachers Sale

Teachers Pay Teachers is now 3 Million Teachers strong and GROWING!  I vividly remembering discovering TpT and teaching blogs three years ago when I unexpectedly changed grade levels right before school began.  Discovering TpT took a huge burden off my shoulders.  The products I purchased made my transition to a different grade level much easier and allowed me to stop spending all weekend preparing lesson plans and materials. I've already pulled out March's Fry Phrase Fluency Game.  My kiddos LOVE it.  I put it in a fun leprechaun hat I bought at Target and it's a huge hit in my classroom.

We are doing some close reading with the picture book, Me and Uncle Romie next week and I plan on using the St. Patrick's Day story elements organizer from this my Spring Graphic Organizer Packet: Set One.  I blogged a little bit more about these organizers {here}.

I am departmentalized this year, which means I only teach English Language Arts.  That doesn't mean my students aren't using my math materials though! I lovingly passed on a tub of them all to the best partner teacher ever. :)  My kiddos love roll and cover just as much as last year's crew and were excited to use the St. Patrick's Day version this week as a choice for computational fluency time.

I also have an Easter version available and plan on preparing a generic spring version very soon. :)

Spring also means Test Prep Season, which means I review what synonyms, antonyms, similes, metaphors, and idioms are any chance I get. :)

We reviewed similes and metaphors again today with a tic tac toe game from my Similes and Metaphors Pack. My kiddos loved it and I LOVED hearing them talking about similes and metaphors with each other.

Cyber Monday + Tuesday Sale and a Freebie

Hey all! I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend! I know I sure have!  My hubs and I adopted a new dog on Tuesday, and I've just been loving the puppy cuddles.  We got family pictures taken today by our sweet wedding photographer, and I'm so anxious to see them!

 Even though, I have LOVED the time off and am sure I won't love the alarm clock tomorrow, I am so excited because tomorrow is Cyber Monday and I can't wait to move some items from my wishlist over to my cart. :)

Beat Blue Sale!

Yes, I am participating in TpT's big Cyber Monday sale as a seller and a buyer, I can't wait! My wishlist is getting a little out of control. ;) But I wanted to share with you a special flash sale I'll be having tomorrow out of love for my Buckeyes! Hopefully it will help you out as you prepare for next week. 

If you've been around my blog for awhile, you know that I LOVE my Ohio State Buckeyes. :)  

  

Ohio State and **ch*g*n have one of the biggest and best rivalries in college sports, and I've been hyped up all week long. :)  I have not actually said **ch*g*n all week.

My dad and I have been texting **ch*g*n jokes all week long and I played my Ohio State marching band CDs in my classroom just a few times this week. ;) 

 

I would *never* do this to one of my students, but goodness I LOVE this picture!

Due to some sanctions, Ohio State won't be playing in post season games this year, so tomorrow's game is our bowl game.  I'm so proud of my Bucks and how they were able to overcome so much this year, so I'm having a special Beat Blue sale starting at 8:00 PM EST Friday and all day Saturday! :)

Trick or Treat SALE!

This post is short and sweet friends.  I don't have much to share from this week.  We did IOWA and CoGat tests all week.  So pretty much we spent way too much time coloring in bubbles on test booklets.  

We had our Fall Party on Friday afternoon, which was a great stress reliever for my kiddos! I survived being party planner extraordinaire, so I'm celebrating with a sale today and tomorrow in at my Teachers Pay Teachers store!

Next week, we are going to be using my BooHaHa Halloween Math Centers during math intervention time.

We are also going to continue reading Halloween books from the library and using my Halloween graphic oganizers to respond to the text. 

Of course, we'll manage to play a couple games of Trick or Treat as well. :) It's a FAVORITE of my kiddos. 

Next week, we are going to be starting a chapter book study of Bunniculua and if I get my act together, a  Halloween move about on the actual day of.  We did a Skittles math review that I usually use before testing on Friday before my party, and they loved it!

Christmas in July!

When I was browsing Hobby Lobby the other day, I noticed most of their Christmas displays were up.  A little early for sure, but  I sure do love Christmas, and am SO excited about it this year because my husband and I are hosting Christmas Eve at our new house. 

Since tomorrow is July 25th, several bloggers are hosting sales in their stores to celebrate Christmas in July, and I am one of them! :)
